Pastor Kevin was born right here in Burke County and felt called to the ministry at fourteen years old. Kevin and Angie have been married for 24 years. They have been doing ministry together for 20 years and have been at Praise Assembly since 2007. They have three beautiful, grown children serving Jesus on both ends of the country: Blake, Allie and Elizabeth.

Pastor Boyd was born in Avery County, North Carolina. He answered the call to ministry in 2004 at the age of 36. Boyd grew up in the Evangelical Methodist church and pastored Lail Road Community Church for four and a half years. He has been serving at Praise Assembly since 2017 as the children and youth pastor. He and his wife Bambi have been married for 30 years and have two grown daughters Brittany and Rebecca. They have three grandchildren Dawsyn, Dallas and Caroline. 

Sandy Hallyburton and her husband have been long term members at Praise Assembly for many years. Sandy has many years knowledge and experience in finance and bookkeeping.  We are truly blessed to have Sandy and her family with us. 

Mary is very much a big part in our church family! Mary has been a long term member of our church for many years. Mary has been our Assistant Secretary for about 3 years. She plays a big role in helping with daily operations of our church! We are blessed to have her on our staff.
